WTIC/WTXX-TV Position Description
POSITION: Associate Promotion Producer Date: 04/27/09
DEPARTMENT: Creative Services
REPORTS TO: Director of Creative Services
ROLE: Schedule On-air Promos and Produce Sales and Contest Promotion
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Schedule on-air promotion and organize promo inventory. * Write, produce and edit on-air sales promotions and station contests. * Coordinate and facilitate all sales promotions, station contests and help execute station events. * Work closely with radio stations to help develop and execute various promotions. * Back-up coverage for Internet Content Manager and Associate Web Producer. * Work closely with The Hartford Courant to help write and producer their on-air promotions. * Occasional duties as fill-in receptionist. * Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
* TV experience and/or Communications Degree required. * Strong writing, organizational and computer skills a must. * TV or Radio promotion experience very helpful. * Must be able to handle multiple deadlines. * Hours include some nights, weekends and holidays.
