Sarah anchors Fox 61's morning newscast with Logan Byrnes. She also anchors the FOX 61 Midday Newscast. Sarah joined the Fox 61 News Team in October 2008, as a weekend anchor/weekday reporter.

With the passing of her dear friend and colleague, Alice Morrin, Sarah has focused her attention toward 911 Texting (Click here to check out the story). It is Sarah's goal to have a 911 Texting Bill passed nationwide.

Prior to Fox 61 WTIC-TV, Sarah worked for the Olympic News Service in Beijing, China, covering women's artistic gymnastics for the 2008 Olympic Games, interviewing athletes such as Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin.

Previous to working with the Olympic News Service, Sarah was an Anchor/Reporter at the NBC affiliate station, KOMU-TV, in Columbia, Missouri. While reporting, Sarah worked as a one-man band, covering assignments as a photographer, reporter and editor.

Sarah is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, where Walter Williams founded the world's first school of journalism in 1908. During college, Sarah worked as a staff writer for Life & Home Magazine, establishing a monthly health and fitness column. She also worked as an intern for NBC Universal in Burbank, CA, where she assisted in the production of NBC's annual Press Tour. While in Los Angeles, Sarah was a host for NBC's local television show, YourLA.

Sarah was also Miss Missouri 2006. She went on to compete in the Miss America Competition. The Miss America Organization is the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. As Miss Missouri, Sarah worked as a spokesperson for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Children's Miracle Network, traveling the state giving motivational speeches and speaking with young students through a program called Right Decisions, Right Now.

Sarah has always been passionate about volunteerism. During her work with the Youth Advisory Council in high school, Sarah wrote a letter to President Clinton in regard to donating for area youth projects. Sarah received a personal letter from the President with an enclosed check from the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation for $5,000, which was matched dollar for dollar by the Kellogg and Walton Foundations.

She was also the emcee for the very first St. Louis Pure Fashion Show. Pure Fashion is a program that focuses on guiding young women ages 14 to 18 to become confident leaders who live the virtues of modesty and purity in their schools and communities.

Sarah is a proud member of Cherokee Nation. In 2006, she was asked to speak at the National Trail of Tears Conference in Springfield, Mo.
