State Police: 1 juvenile dead, 1 critical after incident in Plymouth

Police are in the area of North Main Street and Diamond Street. There is no threat to the public.

PLYMOUTH, Connecticut — Connecticut State Police confirmed Friday one juvenile has died and another is in critical condition in an incident. 

Police responded to the area of North Main Street and Diamond Street to find two juveniles seriously injured. One of the juveniles has been pronounced deceased and another is in critical condition in Hartford Hospital. 

Saturday morning, Police released information of an arrest made to Naomi Bell (43) as the perpetrator for shooting the two juveniles within their residence.  Bell has been charged with one count of murder, and one count of intent to commit murder. She is currently being held in lieu of a $2.5 million bond and is scheduled at the New Britain Court on 11/16/2020.

Connecticut State Police tweeted Western District Major Crime is investigating the scene. Several serious injuries have been reported. 

It is unclear what caused the juvenile's injuries and Police did not say if anyone was arrested. Police say the incident seems to be isolated and there is no threat to the public.
