Gerald Wilcox, whose brother David was sentenced earlier, spoke outside the court. David Wilcox, the owner of a Bloomfield-based American Crushing & Recycling, was sentenced in Superior Court in Hartford for his role in a fiery crash on Avon Mountain in 2005 that killed four people and injured 11. In March, Wilcox pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree manslaughter and five counts of first-degree assault and no contest to one count of insurance fraud.
