MONTVILLE A 29-year-old woman from Norwich was killed this morning when the car she was driving crashed into a bus on Route 2, state police said.
Valerie A. Blais, who was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer west on Route 2, crossed the yellow line in the road and crashed head-on into an eastbound Peter Pan bus, state police said.
The crash was reported at 3:04 a.m. near School House Road. The conditions were dark and the road was wet, police said.
Blais was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers on the bus were taken to William W. Backus Hospital for minor injuries. The bus driver was not injured.
