State police have charged a local man with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Robert DeLuca, 53, of 33 Mountain Lane, was taken into custody Tuesday night after state police detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest. He posted $25,000 bail and is to be arraigned today in Superior Court in Waterbury.
