Diabetes and Pregnancy, Stress, and Healthy Eating

Today's news is about how to eat out better, handle the stress and the staggering increase in diabetes in pregnant women.
A new study suggests the number of pregnant women. With pre-existing diabetes has more than doubled in seven years.
And the number of diabetic teenagers giving birth is now 5-times what it used to be.
One expert says the women represent "high-risk" pregnancies.
And expectant mothers who don't control their diabetes face an increased risk of miscarriage and stillbirth.
Their babies also have a higher chance of being born with birth defects.
The study was compiled by researchers at health care provider Kaiser Permanente and funded by the American Diabetes Association.
