Spectator Info
Recycle your old running shoes!
The Manchester Road Race Committee is working with the Full Gospel Interdenominational Church to collect and recycle used running shoes.
The newer shoes will be donated to the needy and the older shoes will be recycled.
Collection Sites:
Race Day Nov. 26
Near Carter's Chevrolet on the corner of Main and Charter Oak Streets, and by the Fox 61 Television broadcast stand at the corner of Main and Myrtle Streets.
November 21st Sports and Fitness Expo Saturday, 8:30-11 a.m at the Cone Gymnasium of Bennett Academy, 1151 Main Street, in Manchester.
November 23, 24 and 25
Walk-in registration sessions
at the Cone Gymnasium of Bennett Academy from 6-9 p.m.
Shoes can also be dropped off at Manchester Community College, students hope to fill a tent that will be set up on campus with used running shoes.
