NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut man is due in court for jury selection for his trial in the killing of a teenager who was shot while sleeping at his home in New Britain.

Twenty-one-year-old Jason Ramos of Newington is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on Thursday. He's accused of conspiracy in the killing of 14-year-old Jose Pagan in August of 2006.

Police say Ramos led a carload of others to retaliate against another man they believe took part in a murder earlier in the evening. Pagan was killed by a bullet that pierced the wall of the home.

Ramos is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and accessory to commit murder. He's being held in lieu of $500,000 bond. No one else has been charged.
