Fire officials are investigating house fire in Ledyard. The fire happened at 673 Shewville Road in the Gales Ferry section of town. Fire crews are still on the scene at 7 AM. Fire officials said that one person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. They also said the house was totaled. The fire started at 3:49 a.m.
