NEW BRITAIN -
Fire Crews are investigating an overnight 3-alarm apartment fire in New Britain. Fire officials say about 50-75 live at the apartment and about half will be displaced by the fire.
At 2:45 a.m. , fire crews responded to a three alarm fire at the 24-unit apartment building at 176 Allen St. The fire was out within 20 minute.
Fire officials said that No residents were injured, however, two firefighters were taken to the hospital, one for burn to leg and the other one for evaluation.
The cause is under investigation. Officials believe the fire started in the north side stairwell and that was where the major damage from the fire occurred.
