HARTFORD - Hartford Police are looking for a suspect who impersonated a police officer and robbed two people of their pot Monday night.

At 4:26 p.m., Police said that a man wearing a bullet-proof vest and with pepper spray and handcuffs approached two men at Keney Park by the pond. According to a complaint, the suspect told the two men that he was a police officer and asked the men to see their id. He took their ids and went to his car. He returned the ids back to the men, but took their marijuana. No gun was shown during the robbery.

Victims did not wait for police. Police are looking for a black man who is 5' 8 with dreadlocks and a gray-colored 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a CT License plate 461XJZ. Anyone with any information are asked to call Hartford Police.
