SOUTHINGTON, Conn. — Peggy Esposito spent years caring for her aunt who was battling cancer. When she lost her fight, her sister inherited her home.
According to Eposoito's family, Peggy was something on a hoarder. Deborah Appelle, Peggy's niece, and her friends got to work. And began their labor of love...Redoing the entire family home, taking it down to the studs, to create a completely new home for her mother and husband.
"We filled 14 dumpsters with a lot of stuff," said Deborah said." We have done most all of this during COVID-19, while my mom and step-dad have remained in Florida."
Painting, power-washing and enlisting help from several friends, Deborah all amid the COVID19 pandemic
The transformation from a house filled to the brim - to a home filled with love - to be enjoyed by the same family for years to come.
"It`s beyond words...Love you," said Deborah's mother to Deborah.
