If you can't be with your loved ones this holiday season, Doordash is looking to help you bring a sweet treat to them.
You have to download the Doordash app to take part in their new gifting initiative. You open your app, change the address to your relatives or friends' location, or whoever you want to get the treat.
Then you choose which gift you want to send. It can be anything from baked goods to meals and snacks. After you choose, on the check out page click "Send as a gift", choose a digital card, then give the recipient's phone number.
Now through Black Friday, Doordash is giving every customer who gives a gift of $20 or more, $10 off their next order.
And for every gift of food between today through December 1, Doordash will match your gift by donating a meal through Feeding America.
