CVS Health to Hire 50,000 in Response to Pandemic
CVS Health has plans to immediately fill 50,000 full-time, part-time and temporary roles across the country. Roles include store associates, home delivery drivers, distribution center employees and member/customer service professionals. The company will utilize a technology-enabled hiring process that includes virtual job fairs, virtual interviews and virtual job tryouts. Many roles will be filled by existing CVS Health clients who have had to furlough workers, including Hilton and Marriott.

Cheshire based Bozzuto's Inc. says they are running their food distribution warehouses 24/7 and looking for extra support. Scott Grove, the vice president for human resources at Bozzuto's said, "We need help in our warehouse, we need diesel techs, we need marketing people." The 75-year old grocery service giant also praised their current workforce that is feverishly trying to keep up with demand.

Amazon looks to hire 100,000 to keep up with orders amid coronavirus pandemic
Amazon said Monday that it needs to hire 100,000 people across the U.S. to keep up with a crush of orders as the coronavirus spreads and keeps more people at home, shopping online. The online retailer will also temporarily raise pay by $2 an hour through the end of April for hourly employees, who work at its warehouses, delivery centers and Whole Foods grocery stores.
