Getting Connecticut back to work: Employers are hiring all across the state.

Jobs available in public works, recreation, and bus driving, as well as a workshop on job interviews.

CONNECTICUT, USA — The City of Hartford is currently hiring for a number of positions, both seasonal and full-time.

There are openings in the Public Works Department, Health and Human Services, and in Finance. The city is also looking for seasonal lifeguards and recreation assistants.

School may be wrapping up, but the New Britain Transportation Company is looking for part-time school bus drivers.

The company says it has 25 positions available that pay a minimum of $17/hour, depending on experience. The work would be in the company’s Berlin, Southington, and Meriden facilities.

And if you’re heading out on the job hunt, CThires.com is hosting a virtual workshop on Wednesday morning, with tips on interviewing techniques and strategies.

It will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m, and will show you how to prepare for critical job interview questions.
