SALISBURY, Conn. — As the state continues to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lime Rock Historic Festiva as of July 7, is still a go for September.
For the unfamiliar, this is a major event in the world of classic cars, and one of the few that will go on in spite of the pandemic. Millions of dollars of cars, types of all years, and manufacturers are shown each year.
The event organizers said they will be adhering to the State's guidelines and protocols of social distancing. There will be two races per day on Saturday and Monday. Grid positions for each race will be determined by racer's times in the preceding heats.
This year an Alfa Romeo Tipo 158 Grand Prix Car will be present at the show, along with a "comforting" number of enteritis.
