ENFIELD -- Police were looking for a suspect who reportedly pistol whipped someone Wednesday.
The suspect allegedly struck the victim in the area of Church Street in Enfield before traveling to East Windsor.
The victim's father called Enfield police and said that he was following the suspect who allegedly pistol whipped his son in the head. The father had followed the suspect to a gas station in East Windsor.
Officers made contact with the suspect, the person who was struck, and two women who were driving in the same car as the suspect.
The victim was taken to the local area hospital for medical treatment. They had multiple cuts to their head and face, including one that needed four staples to close it.
The investigation is ongoing and no one has been arrested.
