CT COVID-19 Updates: Positivity rate at 2.73%

The latest developments on the coronavirus pandemic in Connecticut.

HARTFORD, Conn. —

March 18

Gov. Lamont announced the latest COVID-19 statistics for Connecticut on Friday.

Since Thursday, 336 tests have been confirmed positive out of 12,309 tests administered. This yields a positivity rate of 2.73%.

There have been 8 fewer COVID-related hospitalizations out of a total of 92.

Out of all of the COVID-related hospitalizations, 37 (40.2%) are not fully vaccinated.


March 17

Gov. Lamont announced the latest COVID-19 statistics for Connecticut on Thursday.

Since Wednesday, 404 tests have been confirmed positive out of 16,807 tests administered. This yields a positivity rate of 2.4%.

There have been 2 more COVID-related hospitalizations out of a total of 100.

Out of all of the COVID-related hospitalizations, 43 (43%) are not fully vaccinated.

There have been 62 new COVID-related deaths in the state bringing the total to 10,677.

3,020,871 Connecticut residents have received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine. 2,702,536 Connecticut residents are fully vaccinated. 1,453, 759 Connecticut residents have received a booster. 


March 16

Gov. Lamont announced the latest COVID-19 statistics for Connecticut on Wednesday.

Since Tuesday, 317 tests have been confirmed positive out of 13,727 tests administered. This yields a positivity rate of 2.31%.

There have been 15 fewer COVID-related hospitalizations out of a total of 98.

Out of all of the COVID-related hospitalizations, 42 (42.9%) are not fully vaccinated.

 

March 15 

Gov. Lamont announced the latest COVID-19 statistics for Connecticut on Tuesday.

Since Monday, 305 tests have been confirmed positive out of 10,607 tests administered. This yields a positivity rate of 2.88%.

There have been 8 fewer COVID-related hospitalizations out of a total of 113.

Out of all of the COVID-related hospitalizations, 42 (37.2%) are not fully vaccinated.


March 14

Gov. Ned Lamont announced the latest COVID-19 statistics for Connecticut on Monday.

Since Friday, 809 tests have been confirmed positive out of 31,488 tests administered. This yields a positivity rate of 2.57%.

There have been 19 fewer COVID-related hospitalizations out of a total of 121.

Out of all of the COVID-related hospitalizations, 52 (43%) are not fully vaccinated.
