HARTFORD -- If you are looking for ways to reduce your carbon footprint at home and in the garden, an event Thursday at the Energize Connecticut Center in North Haven could be just the ticket.

The event, which is from 5:30 - 9 p.m., at the Energize Connecticut Center, 122 Universal Drive North in North Haven. will focus on everyday sustainability and educate on how sustainable living practices in cooking and gardening can be incorporated into daily activities to reduce people’s carbon footprint.

Elizabeth Murphy from EnergizeCT joined FOX 61 Good Day Connecticut to talk about the program.
