TORRINGTON — Two people were killed in a three vehicle crash just after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say that the motorcycle was carrying two people and driving east on Goshen Road in Torrington. A pickup truck and a small van were driving west on Goshen Road. The motorcycle crossed the double yellow line, hitting the back of the truck. The motorcycle then lost control and struck the small van head on.
The two motorcyclist, a man and a woman, were ejected and were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the pickup truck along with the driver of the small van were not injured during the crash. Police say that at this time, there is no suspicion of driver impairment with the drivers of the pick up truck and the van.
Torrinton police identify the victims as 36-year-old Danielle Dubois from Torrington, and 36-year-old Christopher Massey, also fromTorrington.
The crash remains under investigation.
