Not a bad start to the weekend. Highs today were in the middle to low 60s. Tonight will be mild with lows in the 40s so area wide to start tomorrow will be great. Temperatures will soar to the middle 60s for much of the state. Shoreline will be a bit cooler because of a sea breeze lower 60s there.

In the evening we'll increase the cloud coverage and rain will start to develop. The timing is pretty ideal in terms of Sunday. However, it'll be a wet commute for your Monday morning. Things will improve heading into the afternoon but an isolated shower is not out of the question.

It's not until after Monday that we will experience a slight cold snap, with a front moving through on Tuesday. This will knock high temps back into the 50s. Strong April sunshine will stick around through the bulk of the week, with some rainfall coming on Friday. A potent frontal system will be the main driver for that rainfall according to latest data.

FORECAST DETAILS:

TONIGHT: Mild. Partly clear. Low: 40s

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy. High: Mid-upper 60s.

MONDAY: AM rain then clearing. High: 60s.

TUESDAY: Chance shower. Milder. High: Mid-upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy, cooler. High: 50s.
