NEW HAVEN- Police say a man was shot on Greenwich Avenue overnight.
Around 1:40 a.m., police say ShotSpotter notified them of gunshots in the area of Greenwich Avenue between 1st Street and 2nd Street.
When they arrived, officers found a 27-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the man’s injuries were critical but not deemed life-threatening.
According to police, shell casings were found around a house on Greenwich Avenue and alongside an alleyway.
The victim is in stable condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
