MANCHESTER -- Four people were arrested following a melee at Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester.

Police say around 6 p.m. Wednesday, they were called to the mall by officers working inside after the brawl broke out. Police say there were several other disturbances, and all together, about 200-300 people, mostly juveniles, were involved.

Mutual aid was called in to help.

Police arrested three adults, and a 17-year-old as a result of the fight inside the mall. 19-year-old Dynastee McCoy from Wethersfield, 18-year-old Inaija Williams from Hartford, and 18-year-old Naejza Bares from New Britain. According to police, they interfered with officers, and were charged with breach of peace, interfering with officers, and inciting a riot.

Additionally, police say the 17-year-old male that was arrested had refused to leave after the fight broke up, was arrested for breach of peace, interfering with officers, inciting a riot, and criminal trespassing. Police say the teen also was carrying a .22 cal Taurus 228 handgun without a permit.

Police say after the initial fight kicked off, many other fights erupted inside and outside the mall. While police were dispersing the crowds, groups gathered in surrounding parking lots. Responding officers were called in to help control the surrounding areas. Police say there were no injuries to the public, or responding officers.

Police say there will now be additional resources at the mall for the forseeable future.

In 2016, police responded to a similar incident at the mall where a total of seven arrests were made. Manchester Police said hundred of teens were involved, and that several fights broke out. The mall was also forced to shut down.

Another similar incident took place Wednesday night at the CT Post Mall in Milford.

Milford Police Department said two juveniles were arrested following several disturbances there.
