NEW LONDON — Police are investigating a shooting in New London that left one man injured on Sunday.
Police said around 2:50 pm, police responded to a weapons call reporting a gunshot victim in front of 187 Connecticut Ave. Police said the victim was taken to the hospital.
The victim suffered serious injuries. The incident does not seem to be a random act.
Police said a perimeter was established and the scene secured.
Police are continuing to investigate.
