GREENVILLE, S.C. — Officials say a student wounded in a shooting at a high school in Greenville, South Carolina, has been taken to the hospital.
District officials say in a statement the student is still conscious and talking. Officials say the shooting happened Friday morning in the cafeteria at Southside High School.
Several schools in the area have been placed on lockdown, and district officials say they’ve set up a perimeter around the school. They say they’ll tell parents shortly when they can pick up students.
