WOODSTOCK – On Thursday at around 6 a.m., state police executed a drug-related search and seizure warrant at 442 Eastford Road in Woodstock.

The search warrant was issued as part of an ongoing crack cocaine, powder cocaine and heroin trafficking investigation which indicated that Victor Perez-Carrasquillo, 32, was using his house to store, process, and sell drugs from.

Upon entry, police found  Perez-Carrasquillo, Luis Diaz-Rivera, 33, and Arelis Lacen, 25. In addition, two children were located in the upstairs hallway, a five-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy.

Police seized 200 grams of heroin, around 1.265 kilograms of crack cocaine and around 1.021 grams of powder cocaine, and around $80,000 in cash. In addition seven guns, one confirmed stolen out of Massachusetts, were seized: four pistols, two modified AR-15 assault rifles and one .22 caliber rifle. Two 30 round 5.56 high-capacity magazines for the AR-15 rifles were seized, as well as other rounds of ammunition of various calibers.

Cell phones, two digital scales, two drug grinders, a heat sealer, a large quantity of plastic packaging materials, a large container of a cutting agent and drug notes were located and seized.

Lacen

All guns and drugs seized were located within six feet of the toddler’s crib. The drugs, guns, and ammo seized would have been easily obtainable for both children that lived there. A DCF case worker was called to the scene and both children were taken from the home. DCF started a separate investigation and a 96-hour hold was placed on the two children.

All three adults were arrested, held on a $350,000 dollar cash only bond each, and are to appear at Danielson Superior Court on Friday.

All three were charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, risk of injury to a minor, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a high-capacity magazine, criminal negligent storage of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
