SHELTON -- Shelton Police are investigating after they say a man stabbed his roommate repeatedly, and then was hit by a car.
Police say they were called to the 300 block of Howe Avenue around 8:15 p.m. following an argument involving 26-year-old Carmelo Anthony and his 60-year-old roommate.
Both Rivera and the roommate were rushed to the hospital for their injuries.
The roommate is currently listed in critical, but stable condition.
Rivera was charged with criminal attempted murder, and assault of an elderly person. He was held on a $500,000 bond, and is expected in court Wednesday.
