FBLA stands for Future business leaders of America which promotes leadership and offers multiple opportunities for aspiring students to participate in multiple conferences.
It also contains many competitive events were students from all over the state compete against each other. Each local chapter in Connecticut has officers which show exceptional leadership skills and guide the members through interest. This club also promotes business.
It's a great platform to improve your knowledge and help your community at the same time !!!! FBLA has to be known to the world as it offers many experiences that a person can never buy anywhere.
As a FBLA member myself I have gained so much knowledge that I want to share to the world. This club hosts many events like the national enterprise day where business leaders come to share their experience.
The FOX 61 Student News program empowers Connecticut middle and high school students to explore the world of multi-media journalism by giving them the opportunity to capture, edit and publish original content under the guidance of industry professionals.
Each student produced and hosted segment will showcase a local story or event, highlighting all that is great about our state. Segments will be featured on-air during Friday's Morning News at 7:45 a.m., 5:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. news and during the FOX61 Morning News on Saturday at 7 a.m., on our Facebook page and right here on FOX61.com!
