Advanced Wheels works towards one common goal - to always put their customers first.

Advanced Wheels of East Granby is a family owned and operated business that makes adjustments to vehicles for people who are wheelchair bound. 

Day to day, they continue serving their community and employees for those that are in need of assistance. 

Sam Smyth, an employee there, was impacted by their outreaching support. While he initially went to the company so they could complete modifications on his own vehicle, he ended up working there after the project concluded.

 Advanced Wheels works towards one common goal - to always put their customers first. They work tirelessly, day and night, to support their customers in need of assistance. 

Christian Quandt, the company's president, said, “One of our favorite things to do is to put somebody back on the road … it’s really impactful for us to give them their independence back.”

They care for their customers, and through that philosophy they have, they have been able to assist and change the lives of many individuals.

The FOX 61 Student News program empowers Connecticut middle and high school students to explore the world of multi-media journalism by giving them the opportunity to capture, edit and publish original content under the guidance of industry professionals.

Each student produced and hosted segment will showcase a local story or event, highlighting all that is great about our state. Segments will be featured on-air during Friday's Morning News at 7:25 a.m., 10 p.m. news and during the FOX61 Morning News on Saturday at 7 a.m., on our Facebook page and right here on FOX61.com!
