Big Warm-Up Next Week!
High pressure will slowly move south over New England and Connecticut this weekend and early next week with plenty of sunshine low humidity and warm daytime temperatures. The high will move off the mid-Atlantic Coast by the middle of next week thereby inducing a big warm-up as a southwest flow will transport a hot, humid air-mass over the northeast. Temperatures could potentially reach 90 degrees by next Wednesday and or Thursday, which could be the first time since July 23rd that we hit the 90 degree mark. A cold front will cross the region next Friday with the chance for a few thunderstorms that will effectively end the high heat and humidity just in time for the Labor Day Holiday Weekend. Early indication is the weekend looks mostly dry and comfortable.
