2 men arrested after brief foot chase in West Hartford

A West Hartford police pursuit ended on Linmoore Street in Hartford Monday. 

The chase happened around 1:40 p.m. The car drove away after being initially pulled over by police. A "tire deflation device" was used and was able to pop one of the car's tires. Other "tire deflation devices" were used on the car. 

Police said there was no car chase during the incident. Witnesses were told police were the car had parked on Cheshire Street in Hartford. The suspects began to run from police but were caught and arrested.

The two men were identified as Xavier Quiles,30, and Max Cosme,40. Both suspects are Hartford residents. 

Cosme is facing mulitple charges including engaging police in a chase. Both Quiles and Cosme are also being charged with interferring with an officer. 

Police said no one was injured and nothing was damaged.
