CORNWALL, Conn. — The FOX61 Spring Bucket List kicked off this week with a visit to Covered Bridge Electric Bike in West Cornwall.
“We actually have had people come year round, even in the winter, as long as it’s safe, people just really seem to enjoy it, especially after this past year," says co-owner, Bob Ensign.
The family-owned business invites folks 16 and older to rent bikes and explore the roads and trails neighboring the Housatonic River.
"I have been in the back of the orange bike out there and we go a really long way, so it’s pretty cool,” says Bob's daughter, Olivia.
People 16 and under can ride in the back as long as an adult is at the pedals.
"it’s a really fun thing to do, and they will enjoy it, even if it’s a little cold day, you just dress for it and it’s a lot of fun!," says Ensigns daughter, Elizabeth.
Tickets start at $50 for two hours, $60 for a half day, and $85 for a full day.
