MAINE, USA — The severe threat diminishes tonight and showers wrap up. Some lingering fog is expected. It could be a bit dense, especially by the coastline. It will be mild and in the 60s tonight.
Thursday looks like a pretty nice day for most. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s at the coast to the low 90s inland. Humidity remains high, so a couple of showers are expected inland. Otherwise, it will be a drier day.
Humidity sticks around Friday. Some fog is possible again in the morning and clouds will thicken through the day ahead of an approaching system. High temperatures return to the 80s. Shower chances increase late in the evening, and rain is expected overnight into Saturday morning.
Saturday looks like another active weather day for Maine. It will be generally overcast with rain showers and thunderstorms. Rain could be heavy at times. A few strong wind gusts will also be possible. The biggest threat for severe weather looks to be to our southwest. Highs will be in the 70s.
Sunday is an improvement, though it’s not going to be a super nice day, either. Highs are going to be back in the mid 80s with lots of humidity. Showers are expected later in the day.
This is the pattern as we get into next week with almost daily shower chances and lots of heat and humidity.
