The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Hartford, Tolland and Windham Counties shortly after 7:00pm. Monday. The Warning expired at 8:15 pm.
We're tracking some hit-or-miss storms early this evening. Then we'll dry out with areas of low clouds and fog developing.
Those clouds have a tough time breaking Tuesday which means cooler temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Wednesday starts off similar with morning clouds and fog. Then we break for sun and it turns oppressively humid with the chance for a shower or storm in the afternoon.
We're watching an interesting feature for later this week. There's a disturbance in Florida that could take a run up the east coast. If it develops and is close enough, tropical downpours and a gusty breeze are possible Friday into early this weekend.

SATURDAY: Chance for showers and storms, very humid. High: 80s.
