Temperatures are not as cold as yesterday morning, but you will still need a jacket if you're headed outdoors!
Our warm October continues Wednesday and Thursday with highs ranging from the upper 60s to the low & mid 70s, under mostly sunny skies and a lighter wind.
A cold front will swing through the area late Thursday night and Friday with mostly a wind-shift, as the front will not have much moisture to work with, at least to start.
By Saturday, a cold front stalls off-shore and a storm system develops on the front. However, most of the steady rain should stay off-shore. Instead, be prepared for some scattered showers. We'll watch that closely.
In terms of fall foliage, it's been a great autumn so far! Peak foliage has reached parts of central and northern CT, and it'll continue to progress southward during the next couple of weeks. With some gusty winds at times this week, those leaves will be flying around at times.
