Hot weather for Thursday with sunshine; showers return tonight

High temperatures in the 80s through Saturday and mainly dry weather ahead, despite a few scattered showers.

Thursday is looking dry and warm...borderline HOT with highs in the mid-upper 80s. It won't be incredibly steamy, but with temperatures this warm, the air conditioning might be a good idea today! After this mostly dry day, showers and storms return to the forecast for this evening and tonight.

Severe weather doesn't look likely during the overnight hours, but a few of those showers may have a rumble of thunder or two that may wake you up. Otherwise, we head into Friday with a shower chance (nothing widespread).

That warmth will stick around into the first half of this weekend before cooling off Sunday into early next week. The humidity also drops. Even with the mugginess of Friday and the first half of Saturday, we still keep it below that "Tropical" range, which we define as dew points over 70.

There are a few chances for showers in the forecast but nothing that looks to erase how crispy everything is turning out there!
