St. Louis forecast: Storms end, heat turns up

Hot and humid this week, it will feel like +100

ST. LOUIS — Showers and storms will taper off today. By the afternoon highs will reach into the mid 80s under partly sunny skies. It will be humid today. 

We'll stay dry for the 4th of July, but it will be very hot. Highs will soar into the mid 90s, factor in humidity and it will feel like 105!

The brutal and dangerous heat continues through Friday. On Tuesday and Wednesday the heat index will hover around 110. 

Spotty storms could come to the rescue, giving a few places reprieve from the heat.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, spot storms. Highs in the upper 90s, heat index to 110. 

Thursday: Partly sunny, spot storms. Highs in the upper 90s, heat index to 105.

Friday: Scattered showers and storms, highs in the upper 90s.

Saturday: Few storms, partly sunny, highs in the low 90s.
