Things are finally calming down after a wet and wild afternoon of heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail and thunder.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect for much of the northeast. While the wind doesn't look too bad, a few gusts could approach 40 mph.
Friday will remain windy with a lingering shower or two. With some colder air above us, we can't rule out some small hail in spots (maybe even a few snowflakes in the NW hills). Temperatures will also be cooler on Friday with highs in the 40s to around 50.
At least we dry out for Easter weekend. Even though there won't be any social gatherings on Easter Sunday, we still should have some decent weather if you'd like to get outside and take in some fresh air!
