An incoming cold front brings back the chance for rainfall on Sunday. Isolated showers will be possible at any point with a few storms in the afternoon to evening.
Notice the forecast track showing a few spotty light showers (not more than a few sprinkles on the windshield in many cases) for midday.
And then early this evening, a few spotty showers or storms.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed far north Georgia in a Level 1 threat of severe weather for a few gusty winds.
A mix of sun and clouds won't slow the warm-up. High temperatures heat to the low to mid 80s Sunday afternoon.
Behind the front, temperatures fall for the week. Lows fall into the 50s by Tuesday morning. High temperatures stay in the low 80s Monday with 70s likely for much of the week.
Rain could return to the forecast by the end of the week, but our weather depends almost entirely on the track of Tropical Storm Ian.
