PLYMOUTH, Conn. — A person was found dead after a structure fire in Plymouth on Sunday morning, according to officials.
At around 11:03 a.m., Plymouth Police and Terryville Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire located at Minor Road, Terryville, Connecticut.
When crews arrived, the scene was immediately secured while members from Terryville, Thomaston, and Harwinton Fire Departments worked to extinguish the fire, according to officials.
A person was found dead at the scene, officials said.
Plymouth police are investigating the incident.
Police said there is no threat to the public as this is an isolated incident.
