NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A California man was found dead in West Rock Ridge State Park in New Haven on Friday evening.
Officials at the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) said police went to the park just before 6 p.m. to respond to a Hamden police report of a fall victim. After a search, a 25-year-old man was found and declared dead on the scene.
The man has been identified as Martin DeJesus Flores, of Woodbridge, CA.
Environmental Conservation police are investigating.
DEEP said that it appears that Flores fell and there are no suspicious circumstances.
The incident remains under investigation.
