From flying high in the sky with skis on the slope to walking down the aisle at a bridal expo, here's what's happening in Connecticut this weekend!

CONNECTICUT, USA — It's the first weekend in February and it'll also (finally) be sunny! If you want something to do with friends and family this weekend, see what's happening across the state!

Love gets spooky this month, with the My Bloody Valentine Downtown Mystic Ghost Tour beginning this weekend and lasting exclusively only for February. Join Seaside Shadows on a walk to Mstic's most haunted places and the stories of romance, love, and Valeinte's gone awry over the centuries in downtown Mystic! The tour runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Learn more and book tickets here.

Mystic will also be celebrating the beginning of Black History Month on Saturday. Join the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce with a flag raising to the Black National Anthem and then a march to the Union Baptist Church for performances and speakers. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will include panel discussions, music performances, and more. Admission is free. Learn more here.

Fly high in the February sky this weekend as athletes, including Olympic contenders and some of the best junior ski jumpers in the country, will compete in the 98th Annual Jumpfest and Annual U.S. Eastern National Ski Jumping Championships! The event will take place at Satre Hill in Salisbury beginning Friday and lasting until Sunday. Beginning this weekend and running until March 2, you can go on a relaxing Goat Stroll with one of Bradley Mountain Farm's adorable coats at Lyman Orchards! The 30-minute walk will let you roam around the pond at Lyman's while the goats graze. You'll even receive a bag of goat treats! After the walk, visitors can stay and stop at the Apple Barrel Farm Marker, where each Goat Stroll ticket holder receives a free apple cider donut. Here comes the bride! Head down to the 38th Annual Connecticut Wedding & Bridal Expo this Saturday and Sunday in Hartford! It's the largest bridal and wedding exposition on the East Coast and combines wedding and bridal fashion shows with a huge vendor presence with every wedding product you can think of! Admission is $12, and the event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Learn more here.

Ready for a laugh? Beginning this weekend and lasting until the end of the month, head to TheaterWorks in Hartford to catch The Garbologists! This out-of-the-box comedy show pairs Danny, a blue-collar NYC sanitation worker hiding a heart of gold, and Marlowe, a determined woman, Ive-league educated "newbie" who is also assigned his route. When this unlikely pair is thrown together to pick up what the world has discarded, they find common ground in uncommon times! Admission and show times vary; head here to learn more.
