SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. — A Windsor man is facing charges for several incidents in the past month.

Early last month, police found Joshua Sage, 41, passed out in the driver's seat of a vehicle that police determined was stolen from Courtesy Auto in South Windsor. The vehicle was found severely damaged, with a license plate that did not belong on it, and police found a crack pipe in the vehicle, South Windsor police said.

Sage's dog bit an officer during the incident and was then quarantined at the Tyler Regional Animal Care Shelter on Sullivan Ave. in South Windsor, according to police.

Later in March, Sage threatened to blow up the shelter and physically threatened a town employee who works at the shelter because his dog was being quarantined there, police said.

He was held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday. If he bonds out, he will appear in court in May for the failure to appear charge.
