WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn — A nonstop seasonal service from Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) in North Carolina will launch on May 24, the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) announced Tuesday.
The new service from Windsor Locks to New Bern, N.C., offered by Breeze Airways, will begin with flights on the Friday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend, and then move to a regular schedule of Thursdays and Sundays, according to the CAA.
“As one of our first bases of operation, Breeze began service from Bradley International in May 2021,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “With the four additional routes to the Carolinas and Ohio in the coming months, Breeze now offers 19 nonstop destinations from BDL.”
Breeze most recently announced plans for nonstop seasonal services beginning in May from BDL to Myrtle Beach, S.C., Orlando, FL, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.
According to the CAA, Bradley's current flights include stops to "Charleston, S.C. (CHS), Columbus, OH (CMH), Fort Myers, FL (RSW), Jacksonville, FL (JAX), Las Vegas, NV (LAS), New Orleans, LA (MSY), Norfolk, VA (ORF), Phoenix, AZ (PHX), Raleigh-Durham, NC (RDU), Richmond, VA (RIC), Sarasota, FL (SRQ), Savannah, GA (SAV), Tampa, FL (TPA), and Vero Beach, FL (VRB)."
