Bullet grazes 18-year-old's back at Waterbury apartment complex: Police

The teen was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and later released.

WATERBURY, Conn. — A teen was grazed by a bullet at an apartment complex in Waterbury on Friday night, according to police.

Police were called to the Truman Apartments Housing Complex on 1804 Main St. around 9:35 p.m. Friday for reports of a gunshot victim.

Officers found evidence of gunfire at the complex, as well as an 18-year-old whose back was grazed by a bullet, according to police. The teen was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and later released.

Police are investigating this incident and are asking people with information to contact Waterbury police at 203-574-6941. Information can also be sent to the anonymous tip line at 203)755-1234.
