KILLINGLY–Several fire departments and the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection worked together Friday evening to rescue a woman who had fallen at Old Furnace State Park.
A 42-year old woman suffered “significant injuries” after falling from Ross’ Cliffs at Old Furnace State Park around 8 p.m.
Danielson Fire and South Killingly Fire Department responded for the technical rescue, as well as other mutual aid units and DEEP Environmental Conservation Police.
The woman was taken via LifeStar to a hospital.
