HARTFORD–Some families aren’t likely to forget this storm any time soon.
At St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, 14 new babies were born on Monday and Tuesday. On average, nine babies are born in a comparable amount of time.
Meanwhile, at Hartford Hospital, 15 babies were born over a 24-hour period. While one couple had quite an adventure getting to the hospital–it took 45 minutes!–the hospital’s spokesperson says all of the babies and mothers are doing well.
The family of baby Penelope Grace, who was born at St. Francis, was happy to share a picture of their new bundle of joy. Penelope Grace is the second child for Jeanette Roman and Johnathan Angol, who have an 11-year-old. The Manchester couple welcomed Penelope on Tuesday morning at 1:36 a.m. She weighed in at 6 pounds 13 ounces.
Congrats to Penelope’s family, and all the other families who now have a blizzard baby!
