The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame will hold its 20th annual induction ceremony and celebration on Nov. 6 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. More than 1,000 attendees are expected.

Inductees this year include: U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro; Barbara Hackman Franklin, who served in five White House administrations; Linda Koch Lorimer, vice president of Yale University; and Augusta Lewis Troup, a typesetter, journalist, educator and suffragist who advocated for minority rights.

The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame is an educational outreach organization whose mission is to honor publicly the achievement of Conencticut women, preserve their stories, educate the public and inspire the continued achievements of women and girls.
