NEW YORK CITY — YouTube is investing in creativity. The internet company is opening the doors to its professional studio space in New York City today.

YouTube creators of all levels can access the 20,000 square-foot facility on the 6th floor of Chelsea Market. The Google-owned company is allowing creators to use the space for free if they have at least 5,000 subscribers to their YouTube page, are at least 18 years old, and can complete a production in 60 days.

The facility boasts three enclosed sound stages, post-production facilities, equipment, and a diner set.

There is also a series of workshops coming up this month where the visually creative can learn more on what they need to do to create a hit video and build their audience. You can check out those workshops and other events here: YouTube Workshops

YouTube already has professional production spaces in London, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.
